Malik Style Suggestions

{Above} Here's your introduction to the Editor Pants! They are from Express, and are super comfortable and will instantly make your everyday outfits look like you got dressed on purpose- instead of "because they were on the top of a pile." The Denim and the black will be the two pairs you would get the most use out of- and I found them on sale!

{Above} These are two pairs of Cole Haan leather shoes found on eBay. Both of these have Nike Air technology so you'll feel like you have old gym shoes on, but you won't look like you just left the gym.
* Both around $20 on eBay, but you'll have to search for your sizes. These are good visuals, and they also have Maryjane Nike air ballet flat style.

{Above} To wear with your Editor pants, blouses are easy and comfortable! These ones are the same style, and both prints and color are a great thing to add to your Spring/Summer wardrobe. They come in easy, bright solids as well as prints. I found them on sale for around $30 from $60! *I don't recommend the faux leather short for you, though to each their own!

{Above} These (or something similar- nude with a platform wedge) will be super comfortable and versatile. You can wear with brown, black, colors and prints. Nude shoes also "elongate" the leg, which is wonderful for every woman.

{Above} These are definitely not essential for you, but if you have any old, faded tees, these are a very cheap alternative. I love "Thread for Thoughts," it's an organic brand, soft, stretchy and durable. Plus, a great V neck to show off your most favorite features. I have them in almost every color. It's kind of like a t-shirt without looking like you're wearing a grubby old top. You can wear them with your Editors as well! Just throw on a scarf with a punch of color and your new cute athletic flats and you're a hot fashionable (yet still comfortable) mama! You can link to but or get them at Nordstrom rack for around $7.50 each.

I found some great light and colorful scarves at Old Navy. They are on sale for $9.99 and will make an ordinary t-shirt and outfit pop!

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=45856I saw some great slim metallic & colored belts on sale on the Express website. I also saw some at Nordstrom Rack. This one above is from Old Navy and is on sale for $12.50. Remember to wear at the smallest part of your waist, and stick to belts less than an inch in width. Wear with dresses or your new pants!

Malik, I think this dress would look fabulous on you! It's also from Old Navy. The color, the "wrap" style bust, and the easy fabric will bring out your best features and will brighten up your style! There are also solid color Summer dresses on sale with a similar style. I think you should try on a few like this one. They are a great Summer staple- and show your best assets! You can wear it like she is- with metallic flats. See below for the Havianas, those cheap & cute flip flops I was telling you about.

You can keep these in your gym bag, wear with a cotton summer dress, or with your Editors and t-shirts! They're cute and versatile. These are around $25, but you can get them at Nordstrom Rack for a little cheaper.
